“Las Noches de El Club de la Comedia”, live stand-ups every weekend in “The Fame” Theatre

Can’t get enough of “El Club del Comedia” on Sunday nights? Would you like see Spain’s best stand-ups live? Just arrived in Madrid and you want to go to a live show? Now’s your chance with the “Las Noches de El Club de la Comedia”.

The “The Fame” theatre, inside the Häagen-Dazs Calderón Theatre, will play host to the “Las Noches de El Club de la Comedia” every weekend, with Spain’s very best stand-up comedians performing in front of live audiences. This new idea will bring “El Club de la Comedia”, the surprise hit of the season on laSexta, to a wider audience.

The audience will get the chance to enjoy some of the country’s best comedy talent live, bringing back to life the essence of “stand-up comedy”, a genre with a long tradition in the Anglo-Saxon world. Dani Mateo and Leo Harlem have been chosen to launch the “Las Noches de El Club de la Comedia” series, on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th February, respectively.

Also chosen to headline are high-profile comics, David Amor and Diego Arjona, famous for their performances in “El Club del Chiste”, Rober Bodegas, from the programme “Sé lo que Hicisteis…” and David Guapo, who on his debut in the “El Club de la Comedia” had the audience on their feet applauding.

“El Club de la Comedia”, the emblematic stand-up show produced by Globomedia and which has been broadcast on all the national channels, premiered on laSexta on 16th January to rave reviews and with more than 2 million spectators.

Now, “Las Noches de El Club de la Comedia” is giving audiences the chance to enjoy the experience live. Every Friday and Saturday at 22.00 in the “The Fame” theatre.
