The “Las noches de El Club de la Comedia” Tour a big success
The show takes a break in August but will be back in September with more performances
“Las Noches de El Club de la Comedia” has followed up the success of the hit show last season on laSexta with a warmly received tour of cities around Spain. The “Las Noches de El Club de la Comedia” Tour will take a break in August but will be back in September with new performances. For two months the very best Spanish stand-ups have given live performances to packed theatres in a variety of different cities around the country.
The tour gave its last show last Thursday in front of a sell-out crowd in Leon with performances from Dani Rovira, David Guapo and Diego Arjona. Merida, Plasencia, Cáceres, San Lorenzo de El Escorial, Burgos, Pontevedra, A Coruña, Ourense and León have all played host to the show since the tour kicked off on 10th June in Merida with performances from David Broncano, Txabi Franquesa and David Guapo.
The “Las Noches de El Club de la Comedia” Tour has brought the successful Globomedia, “El Club de la Comedia” format to a wide range of different audiences over the course of the tour with spectators being able to enjoy some of Spain’s best stand-ups live and recovering the essence of quality “stand- up comedy”, a genre with a long tradition in the Anglo-Saxon world.
