The docu-show premiered yesterday in prime time
Sunday at 21.30 saw Canal Sur 2 premiere “Los habitantes del mar”, the docu-show which features interviews with people who live and work on the sea and who through their stories and daily life provide an insight into their culture, history, food and the geography of the Andalusian cost.
Alongside the beauty of the natural landscapes of the Andalusian coast, the main attraction of this 8-part series is the variety of the portraits of the featured personalities: lighthouse keepers, sailors, windsurfers, hammock owners, scientists, bathers, singers, tourists who arrived and have never left… and what unites them the magnet of the coast and their love of a permanent blue horizon that they can enjoy every day of the year.
Produced by Mediasur “Los habitantes del mar” is a mix of culture, tourism and food. The heart of the programme though is the people who live and work on the sea. A programme about the people, with interviews from a variety of different characters, reports from the region’s best restaurants and beach bars, the fish markets, on the fishing boats, the lighthouses, and the most beautiful landscapes through first-hand accounts which provide insight into the culture, history, food and the geography of the Andalusian cost.
Scenes of beautiful landscapes contrast with features on the coastal villages, on board with the fishing boats, the research work which is being carried out on the sea, inside the best restaurants. Everywhere the programme goes they will be accompanied by a willing guide who will provide insight into their relationship with the sea.
