No stopping “Águila Roja”

The adventure series produced by Globomedia for TVE achieves a 29.3% share, 1.5 points above the previous week’s figures

“Águila Roja” is unstoppable, racking up success after success with even more impressive Monday night audience viewing figures. Last Monday was no exception, with 5,691,000 viewers and a 29.3% share. The fourth episode of the new season of “Águila Roja” was not only the number one viewing option in all its target markets but it was also the most watched programme on Monday night as well as becoming a season’s best carrying the channel to its best Monday night prime-time number of 2011.

The series which stars David Janer, Javier Gutiérrez, Inma Cuesta, Miryam Gallego and Francis Lorenzo also saw the most watched moment of the day at 23:25, just when Gonzalo thinks he’s discovered the whereabouts of Gabi, which was seen by 6,171,000 viewers. Since the start of the new series on 5th September, “Águila Roja” has seen a jump of more than a million viewers (1,017,000) and almost 3 share points.

This week’s episode sees another guest appearance by Lydia Bosch, which confirms viewers’ suspicions that Mother Isabel– the character played by Bosch- is involved in a whole series of dodgy dealings.
