“Futboleros” (7.4%) achieves its best ever viewing figures on Marca TV

“Futboleros” beat its audience average record (592,000) and set its best ever share mark (7.4%)

The Real Madrid-Barcelona post-match coverage last Wednesday saw Marca TV set new viewing records. “Futboleros”, presented by Enrique Marqués, was the most watched programme in the history of the channel with an average of 592,000 viewers. It also notched up its best ever share number: 7.4%.

The average aggregate audience was close to three million people (2,917,000) and the share in the regions of Asturias and Galicia reached 15.6% and 11.4% respectively.

The broadcast of the press conferences given by Guardiola and Mourinho and the extended highlights of the Real Madrid - FC Barcelona game saw Marca TV reach number four spot in the viewing charts, behind Telecinco, the region channels and Cuatro. It was also the best placed emerging channel. The most-watched minute came at 24:22 when 973,000 people (8.0%) were watching the cup game on the benchmark sport channel.

“MARCAGol”, the programme presented by Rebeca Haro, and Álvaro de la Lama, was also watched by an average of 335,000 viewers (2%), beating its average audience best.
